Alphard model codes, decoded

Learn what AGH, GGH, AYH, AAHH and the trailing numbers actually tell you.

A good decision starts by separating what is documented, what is observed and what is merely claimed. This guide gives you a practical framework for that conversation.

01

Code before trim

The chassis/model code is a better starting point than marketing trim names, which can be translated or described inconsistently.

02

Letters and numbers

Families such as AGH, GGH, AYH, AAHH and AAHP distinguish broad platform or powertrain groupings. The trailing number can distinguish drive or platform variants.

03

What it cannot prove

The code alone does not prove build month, equipment, condition, compliance pathway or current import eligibility.
